Not another useless certification that proves nothing. Let your accomplished projects speak for you. In a field that changes as much as web design such a certification is not feasible (because it would need some refreshment every 4 months or so). What makes you think the same clients that do not mind paying big corporations lots of money for HTML4 pages will understand the certification? Hell no! That would be the chance for every free developer or student to get good money for good work. And I totally agree. I was always looking for an "exam" that proves my ability to do web-development. Whether you learned it or not. No one would ask a famous painter if he studied art, if he does a good job it doesn't matter why he does. But he should be able to prove by certification! Right you are! That would be the chance for every free developer or student to get good money for good work.
